Starfish Packs Delivered at First Cowichan School!

Starfish Cowichan Valley is proud to announce their first delivery of Starfish Packs to local students. Thanks to the generous donations from The Rotary Club of Duncan, The Rotary Club of South Cowichan, The Rotary Club of Duncan Daybreak and Mill Bay Towing, we are able to launch the program in the first Cowichan Valley School. Thirty-one children will be sent home with a bag filled with food every weekend for the remainder of the school year.

The goal is to have the program in every school across Cowichan Valley School District 79 by the start of the 2017/18 school year. The school district has identified approximately 180 children who would benefit from the program.
