We are extraordinarily grateful to be selected by Abbotsford’s Golf Pro Nick Taylor and his wife Andie as their charity of choice.  RIGHT NOW, we are in a social media challenge to support Nick Taylor and Team RBC as they work together to support the charities they love. Together they could raise up to $300,000 between 15 charities. The best part of the challenge is that we have the power to impact the outcome of this challenge for STARFISH PACK by participating on social media! The challenge ends July 20.

What’s the heart behind Nick and Andie Taylor’s support for Starfish?  Here’s a glimpse into their world from Andie Taylor:

“Nick and I are so fortunate to be given the opportunity through the RBCGolf4Kids program to pick an organization to support. Both being from Abbotsford, we wanted to really give back to the community that we grew up in. We wanted to pick a program that we knew would be significantly affected by the monetary support, and a program that we felt was doing something really great for the kids in Abbotsford.

Nicks mother is a teacher for the hearing impaired in Abbotsford and I continue to work as a social worker at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. I see the importance of an organization like the Starfish Pack Program because it recognizes the need for change within our own community and helps meet a basic need for the children they help. By providing food to children over the weekend, you are providing both them and their parents with one less major stress. The Starfish Pack Program can have a large impact on the families they help in Abbotsford and we are so happy to be able to support such a wonderful cause through the RBCGolf4Kids program.”
